Oakley Self Storage has been awarded Facility Of The Year Award in 2018

This prestigious award recognizes excellence in the self-storage industry, and we at Storelocal Storage Oakley are thrilled to receive it.

These days, it's difficult for many self-storage companies to get the word out about their products through cities; however, this wasn't the case with Oakley Self Storage, located in Oakley, California, a bedroom town in the Bay Area.

The area's developers, Arthur L. Lorenzini, Michael W. Conley, and Ryan A. Lorenzini, made the decision to get into the self-storage business after working mostly on residential house construction projects.

According to Ryan Lorenzini, "We've worked on commercial projects as well as built residential homes. "We built this second self-storage facility."

The end product is Oakley Self Storage, a $12 million mixed-use complex including 675 apartments, 78,820 rentable square feet, and four 5,120 square foot commercial/retail establishments.

The building had a better-than-expected lease-up rate when it debuted in January 2018 and all of its retail space was occupied.
