We’re thrilled to announce that Storage Direct Self Storage – Willowbrook has officially partnered with Houston Pets Alive! (HPA!) — a remarkable nonprofit saving the lives of at-risk cats and dogs throughout the Houston community.
As part of this partnership, our facility is now a designated drop-off location for pet supplies and donations supporting HPA!’s mission to rescue, care for, and rehome animals in need.
About Houston Pets Alive!
Founded in 2014, Houston Pets Alive! has grown into one of the most impactful animal rescue organizations in the Houston area. Their story is one of compassion and dedication:
- 2017 – Led large-scale rescue operations during Hurricane Harvey, saving thousands of displaced pets.
- 2019 – Expanded to a larger facility on Antoine Drive to support rapid growth.
- 2020 – Continued adoptions through the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting to unprecedented challenges.
- 2022 and beyond – Evolved their programs to tackle stray overpopulation, shelter overcrowding, and returned adoptions.
Today, HPA! continues to provide foster programs, adoption services, and volunteer training, creating a stronger animal welfare network across the city.

We’re a Donation Drop-Off Location!
When you bring your donations to our facility, you’re directly helping animals in foster care, awaiting adoption, or recovering in partner shelters. Every item counts — from food to cleaning supplies.
Items You Can Donate:
- Pet Food:
- Dogs: Purina One Lamb & Rice Recipe or small bites kibble
- Cats/Kittens: Purina One & kitten milk replacer
- Pet Supplies: Leashes, collars, and harnesses
- Cleaning Supplies: 13-gallon trash bags, hand sanitizer, bleach, paper towels, Lysol wipes, litter, puppy pads
- Enrichment Items: Kongs, peanut butter, and toys

Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Simply stop by during business hours and leave your donations in the marked area — our team will ensure they’re delivered to Houston Pets Alive!
