Philip "Scott" Ramser

Scott Ramser has been involved with industrial building development since 1986 when he founded Ramser Development Company. Primarily developing for the garment industry in downtown Los Angeles, Mr. Ramser entered the storage industry in 1995 when he became involved in Baker Ranch RV Storage. In 2003 Mr. Ramser took over Baker Ranch and has since developed over 1,000,000 sq ft of RV & Boat Stoarge facilities and currently operates five facilities in Orange and Sacramento counties. Mr. Ramser’s professional background also includes experience in property and asset management as well as entitlement work with the cities of Santa Ana, Brea, Fountain Valley, Mission Viejo and the counties of Orange and Sacramento.

Mr. Ramser joined the Storelocal to remain competitive in a rapidly changing environment for the storage industry. Consolidation is happening very quickly as the REIT's and regional operators acquire facilities. Internet marketing is the key to acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones. The co-op is focused on this key issue for its members. In addition, the co-op will offer other cost saving initiatives in the credit card processing, insurance and other important areas to its members.

Mr. Ramser is a native of Newport Beach, California and a graduate of the University of Southern California. He is a member of the national Self Storage Association and the California Self Storage Association. He has been married for 32 years and has four grown children. When he isn’t developing real estate you can find him on the ski slope.
